Sometimes we feel as though the things we’re trying to accomplish are impossible to attain. We try to lose that last 5 pounds. We purpose to be charitable, unfettered just as that (insert expletive here) driver cuts us off. We put all our energy, time, strength, and money into a project that seems to lack an equitable return. Sometimes life seems unfair, impossible.

Louis D. Brandeis was a lawyer and an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. He was known as a “Robin Hood of the Law” and assisted with such issues as the right to privacy, labor laws, helped create the Federal Reserve and the Federal Trade Commission, and set a precedent for the presentation of evidence in court by initiating expert testimony from people in other professions.

Brandeis looked at the impossible and made it possible.

“Most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done.” – Louis D. Brandeis

Perhaps what you’re working on this week seems impossible. Maybe you, too, are setting a precedent. You could be navigating through uncharted waters by creating an alternative solution to an existing challenge. You, quite possibly, have uncovered a need and are working toward a unique resolution that could be ground-breaking. It might be a new program or an improvement to an existing plan. Maybe you’re trying to re-imagine yourself or are looking at better ways of self-care. Whatever the task, be secure in this: the possibilities are limitless. YOU are possible!

This week trust your process. Make things happen. Be possible. Your example may be just the model that someone else needs to do great things, as well!
