Today we’d like to talk about limitations. In many cases, the perception of limitations is based on our own inner fears. We worry that we won’t be good at something, that we’ll fail. We decide that we aren’t knowledgeable or clever enough, that our creativity is substandard. We choose to accept what others say about us and base self-exploration and expectations on faulty information. We adopt someone else’s assessment and allow a defeatist mindset to set in before we even begin to investigate the possibilities.
“Our only limitations are those we set up in our own minds.” -Napoleon Hill
It’s been said that when someone tells us something can’t be done, it’s more a reflection of their limitations, not of our own. Unfortunately, many great ideas have been thwarted because we bought into the lie of limitations. The good news is that when limitations are addressed, in many instances they can be exposed and overcome.
There are, of course, very real elements that can slow us down; however, our minds are amazing and have to potential to override limitations in favor of accomplishing great things. The key is to hold the image of what we’re trying to create and allow our minds to override the apparent limitations. We can do this if we’re fearless and push through challenges with determination.
Have a wonderful week exploring your own possibilities and access your highest potential in reaching your destiny!
