I hope you’re well and are enjoying the holiday season. For some of us, there is a spirit of delight found in opportunities to spend cherished moments with friends and family or friends who have become family. There are parties to attend, gifts to purchase and wrap, and memories to be made. For others of us, the holiday season can present a myriad of challenges, sadness, depression, and often frustration with not being able to simply experience joy.Just the other day I met with someone who wants desperately to savor this time of year but fights back the tears from past remembrances.
Taking time to pause, breath, and examine the possibilities of the present moment frequently allow the tense moments to pass and assist us in embracing the potential to realize the mental and emotional wellbeing that we so desire.

Abraham Maslow was an American psychologist who was most noted for his research in self-actualization and the hierarchy of needs. His work revolved around the potential we all have for positivity, indicating that we will remember and access peak experiences or high points in our lives to sense harmony around us, thus increasing our likelihood to maintain happiness and peace.
As we strive for balance in all areas of wellbeing, there’s value in remembering the importance of holding positive experiences as a means to navigate the inevitable ebb and flow of life. Remaining present and intentionally taking pleasure in the joyful moments as they occur, then storing them away for some future time, will aid us in procuring our equilibrium when those changing moments present themselves

Have a fabulous week creating peak experiences to access whenever you have the need, and practice remaining present to allow your mental and emotional wellbeing to find balance and peace.
Be
Well and Be Blessed!
