Good Morning and Happy Monday!

I hope your weekend was filled with awe-inspiring moments and exceptional time with those important to you. Engaging in self-care in ways that rejuvenate all the areas of our wellbeing positions us for clear thinking and creativity. The practice also gives us confidence when we’re about to venture into innovative experiences.

Sometimes we need a little encouragement and fresh inspiration to stimulate our thought processes. Kevin Ngo, the author of over 1,000 articles on personal development, motivation, self-improvement, and goal setting, offers these thoughts:

“Decide what you love, what excites and inspires you, then make that your purpose and watch what transpires.”

Purpose is defined asĀ the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists; having as one’s intention or objective. We frequently toss the word around in conversation, but I wonder how often we contemplate our life’s purpose. What measures are we taking to continue to grow and develop? I further wonder how many of us made a conscious choice concerning our purpose. If you’ve lived long enough, you’ve recognized changes in your purpose at various junctures and have had to reinvent yourself to remain relevant.

Scripture assists us in understanding our purpose in Christ in Romans 8:28:

You really do contain all the skills and talents within to flourish in your purpose! Then, with an intentional focus on positive change, and with the urging of the Holy Spirit, watch and be blessed by what emerges.

Have a fantastic week of discovery!
