Good Morning and Happy Monday!

Lovely cool evenings this week – I hope they continue. It’s been a refreshing change from the heat of summer. As we enter into the Fall season, I wish you the hues of loveliness as you experience transition in life.

Lao Tzu shared the following thoughts:

“If you look to others for fulfillment, you will never be fulfilled. If your happiness depends on money, you will never be happy with yourself. Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the world belongs to you.”

His words support a brilliant outlook on life, and how appropriate it is to include these reflections in the conversation about wellbeing. Contentment, after all, is a very personal experience, the uniqueness of which is informed by the individual’s intentionality and spirit. It doesn’t mean to stop looking for ways to accomplish goals or to find new and exciting ways to increase joy. Bask in the present moment with gratitude. Appreciate what you have as foundational to what may be. Humbly accept your blessings and incorporate them into your plans for the next season. It takes the strife and stresses out of life. It replaces them with the knowledge that something dazzling can happen at any moment, even if you’re not having your best day.

Have a glorious week discovering contentment!

Be Well & Be Blessed!
