When caring, genuine concern, and fairness are matched with integrity and dignity, the resulting justice permeates our environment and informs our thoughts and actions in a way that is contagious. We see, as a result, random acts of selflessness and kindness that attest to the importance of operating in the character trait of fairness.

Being kind humans is the ultimate goal. When our compassion is coupled with humility and purpose, the effect renders us uniquely whole and balanced in our efforts.

Take time this week to look for ways to increase your ability to recognize and practice fairness in your work and private lives. If you discover that you need to up your game, practice mindfulness and identify those areas where you might improve. The experience will be worth the effort!
