Good Monday Morning!
I was sitting at my kitchen table, enjoying the sound of the rain over the weekend and wondering how long it would last. In an instant, there was a break in the sky, allowing the brightest light to shine into the room. The sun was glorious, and I stopped to enjoy the warmth. Moments later, the cloud-cover resumed, and the rain continued. It reminded me how quickly change could occur, and I marveled at the variation in the skyline and the metaphor of life it represented.
Some might have been delighted by the cleansing rain while others may have been disturbed and considered it an intrusion on their weekend. Some might have been disappointed that the sun only peeked out for a moment while others found the shift to be inspiring. I found myself very grateful for so many blessings of diversity and how much appreciated are the various seasons of life.
Shortly after that, I found this quote from Deepak Chopra, physician, author, and alternative medicine advocate:

How transforming is the acknowledgment that we have the keys to open the power, wisdom, and creativity of the universe, and the vehicle is merely being grateful. Gratitude makes a difficult task more bearable. Having a grateful heart makes it easy to give of our time and resources because we know that grace precedes our favor. And, gratitude underscores our need for one another, to celebrate our shared joys, and to lend support when there’s a setback, delay, or loss.
“And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18
This week consider sharing your power, wisdom, and creativity by showing gratitude at every opportunity.
Be Well & Be Blessed!
