Good Monday Morning!
Happy first day of April!
Loyalty is being faithful to ourselves and others. An essential component of wellbeing, loyalty helps us with self-discipline when we don’t feel like getting up to workout, makes us available for meeting with friends, keeps us accountable for authentic mental and emotional self-care, and assists us in honoring the foundations of our spiritual wellness.
Morihei Ueshiba, master, and creator of the martial art of Aikido had this to say:
“Loyalty and devotion lead to bravery. Bravery leads to the spirit of self-sacrifice. The spirit of self-sacrifice creates trust in the power of love.”
And Dr. King noted:

Sometimes doing what’s right requires loyalty and the courage to endure adversity. Standing in the gap for someone who can’t wage the battle alone or might not be able to fight at all, models how loyalty shows up in love and compassion. Love and loyalty form a connection that is tough to loosen. They are virtues that create the framework for connection, which is the underlying desire and pillar of wellbeing.
Let’s be curious about love and loyalty as they appear in daily life this week!
Be Well & Be Blessed!
