Good Morning!
This week we commemorate the two foundational holidays of Passover and Easter. It’s interesting how they move together as a reminder of freedom. One of the great truths of Passover is that it represents liberty and the right to live and worship as we choose. The Exodus was the flight of freedom for the Israelites as they left what conflicted with their spirituality.
Easter represents freedom through the ultimate sacrifice of life leading to the Resurrection of hope. Through this act of love, light pierced the darkness of bondage and truth became renewed.
The poetic metaphor of each remembrance is that freedom comes at a cost, but that the pursuit gives us hope in our present circumstances.
Consider taking a few moments this week to reflect on the deeper meanings of these holy days as they relate to your spiritual convictions.
Have a wonderful celebration!
Be Well & Be Blessed!
