Becoming who we were created to be is an important concept because, as many of us search for purpose in life, we sometimes miss the obvious leadings and settle for less than what our destiny promises.

From a wellbeing perspective, this means that how we spend our time and energies is in direct proportion to our level of joy and sense of peace, not to mention accomplishment. And the really fascinating part is that, whereas each aspect has particular significance, collectively the principles of wellbeing are expanded and enriched.

For example, if we desire to have clarity of thought and emotional stability, one of the most effective ways is to take care of our physical wellness. The benefits of exercise have been well-documented with evidence of better emotional balance, sharper decision-making abilities, and more complete mental acuity.

Buddha expressed the concept this way:

To keep the body in good health is a duty . . . otherwise, we shall not be able to keep our minds strong and clear.

When we take the time to care for our bodies, we keep our minds in shape and position ourselves to be who we were created to be.

Get in that extra workout and set the world on fire this week!

Be Well & Be Blessed!
